Accommodation

Our student accommodation is your home away from home

If you are looking for a place to live in Auckland, you might want to consider our student accommodation. It's a convenient, safe and rewarding way to live in the heart of Auckland and be part of a vibrant student community.

Accommodation options include modern, fully furnished spaces, shared apartments and single studios, with study rooms where you can focus, and communal recreation spaces where you can take a break. We also offer places where you can cook your own food or have food provided.

With room for more than 4000 students, our campus housing is more than just a roof over your head – it's a place where you can meet friends, make memories and feel at home.

What's great about student accommodation?

Included utilities

Power, water and internet are all included, so you won't need to worry about setting anything up or paying separate bills. Laundry facilities are available to use at no additional charge in every residence.

Walking distance to the city campus

Live at the heart of university life. Our accommodation options are all just a 5- to 15-minute walk from campus.

Catered and self-catered options

We have self-catered (cook your own food) and catered (food included) accommodation options – so you can enjoy creating your favourite comfort foods, or enjoy the convenience of having food provided for you.

Note that catered options are only available for first-year school leaver students. This typically means that you are between 17-19 years old and will be starting university for the first time.

Live-in residential advisors

Every building is looked after by a team of staff members. This includes a Resident Manager, Resident Coordinator(s), Night supervisors and managers, receptionists, and student Resident Advisers.

Our trusted student Residential Advisors are here to support you as you adjust to life on campus. As friendly, experienced student leaders, they can provide guidance, help you find answers, and assist you with what you need to feel at home from the day you arrive.

A vibrant social experience

Social events bring the student community together and provide a fun setting for you to make great friends and memories.

Gym membership included

As an Accommodation Resident, membership to our new, state-of-the-art recreation centre, Hiwa, is included in your fees. This means you will have easy access to the facilities so you can stay fit and healthy while you study.
